My Story

The Big Science Project began in April 2019 when I, Helen, who grew up in rural Wales, saw how few accessible science activities were available for primary schools in Wales. With over twenty years of experience in the field of science, I'm passionate about bringing fun with science and hands-on STEM learning to kids bilingually! Whether we are running a science workshop in a classroom or hosting a local science camp, our goal is to inspire.

We're a small core team, but together, we create big experiences. From designing awesome science experiments for our half term camps to creating engaging childrens experiment kits, we get kids exploring, discovering, and enjoying fun scientific experiments across Wales.

We provide in-person events, including summer holiday clubs and stem holiday clubs, across Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and North Wales.
