My Story

The Big Science Project began in April 2019 when I, Helen, who grew up in rural Wales, saw how few science activities were available for primary school children in rural communities of Wales.

With over twenty years of experience in the field of science, I’m passionate about bringing fun, educational science experiences to kids across Wales- bilingually, too!

We’re a tiny core team of two - Helen and Bea - but together we create big experiences: exciting activities, hands-on experiments, and home science kits that get children exploring, discovering, and enjoying science across Wales.
