Our Story

The Big Science Project began in April 2019 when Helen, who grew up in rural Wales, noticed the lack of science activities for primary students available to children in similar areas.

With over twenty years of experience in research science, Helen is passionate about bringing fun and educational science activities to kids of primary school age in rural communities across Wales- bilingually too!

The Big Science Project is now a team of 4 scientists, developing amazing new science activities and home science kits for children across Wales and the UK!
